This role reports to the Head of Infrastructure and expected to be deployed into a project to deliver end-to end infrastructure expertise from Implementation until Operations

The role is expected to work as part of the project implementation team, leveraging on his infrastructure expertise, to deliver a turn-key cybersecurity project to the customer. As part of the implementation, you will be expected to understand the infrastructure of the project, provide operations excellence suggestions, develop operations document and eventually translate into the infrastructure operations lead within the project to bring up-to-skill, the infrastructure operations team

This role requires you to have a good and wide understanding of difference infrastructure solutions, as well as relevant experience in an infrastructure operations role. You need to have a desire for improvement using modern technologies and techniques such as automation and devops. This role exposes the person to an end-to-end project from design all the way until operations

**Responsibilities**
- Work as part of the project implement team to design and deploy the infrastructure components to a turn-key project
- Help work on technical documentations during the project, including project implementation documents as well as operational documents
- Work closely with the eventual Operations Manager to operationalise and optimise the infrastructure operations within the project
- Suggest and continuously improve the operations using a mix of automation scripts and other tools to increase operational efficiency
- Mentor, train up and empower new infrastructure operations personnel to eventually take over the infrastructure operations of the project

**Requirements**:

- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent
- At least THREE (3) years of experience in working in an infrastructure operations role
- Strong knowledge of technologies such as networking, virtualisation, Active Directory and Red Hat Linux
- Able to develop PowerShell and bash scripts
- Implementation experience is advantageous but not necessary
- Able to work in a highly regulated environment and to make adjustment to meet project deadlines
- Good communication / stakeholder skills and emotional intelligence to influence key decisions, mediate conflicts and build consensus
