**The Role**

As a **Lead QA Tester **at **Deep Dive Studios**, you’ll delve straight into the deep end - pushing the limits of the games we create. You will be responsible for leading and coordinating a team of QA Testers to sift out bugs and issues - ensuring proper documentation and advancing them to the appropriate teams. You will also play a pivotal role in the accountability, growth and development of the QA Team.

We’re looking for a leader who has a burning passion for games, curious at heart, and unafraid of challenging the norm.

**Responsibilities**
- Proactively perform testing of software (games) to flag relevant bugs and issues.
- Design and execute new test cases based on varying product requirements.
- Maintain accountability of issues identified and follow up on implementation of solutions.
- Recommending feature additions or modifications that may improve the user or game experience.
- Manage bug databases and the creation of QA reports, ensuring proper and concise documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams as a Quality Stakeholder of projects.
- Review QA processes regularly for assessment and risk management.
- Lead and manage all facets of our QA Team. This includes individual/team performance and growth management, facilitating new hires and continuing to nurture existing ones.

**Traits We’re Looking For**
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to effectively relay identified issues and information to team members in discussion as well as documentation.
- A creative problem solver that remains open-minded to new perspectives and ideas.
- Proven ability in managing deadlines and priorities.
- Passionate about Gaming and Game Development.
- Meticulous and high attention to detail.

**Skills and Experience Required**
- At least 3-5 years of experience in QA (Games industry).
- Some experience in leading a QA team or working with outsource QA teams.
- Proficiency in task management tools like Jira/Confluence and MS Office suite.
- Familiarity with game development or the gaming industry.
- Experience with PC, console or mobile games.
- Experience with Unity3D is a plus.

**Salary**: $4,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
