The Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDSG LTD) has been caring for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (PWIDs) and their families since 1962.

MINDSG LTD is today one of the largest charities in Singapore employing more than 850 staff. With the key focus to expand community-based services, improving the employability of PWIDS, strengthening education, and engendering inclusive community living, MINDSG LTD offers a holistic range of services and programmes across the PWIDs’ lifespan.
DESIGNATION : Programme Executive/Officer
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Programme Executive contributes actively to the programme needs of Me-too Club under the umbrella of Community-Based Support Services (CSS). He/she will be involved in the planning, coordinating and executing of programme events and activities that suit the needs of families of persons with intellectual and developmental needs.CSS is the dynamic and nimble service delivery arm in MINDS that response to emerging needs of PWIDs and Caregivers in the community. The programme executive will work in synergy with various direct community services i.e. Homebased Care Services, Caregivers Support Services, Future Care Planning Teams and MINDS Hubs to enhance integration and community living of caregivers and PWIDs in the community.
A proactive thinker, resourceful and responsible team player, he/she works closely with colleagues across MINDS to plan each programme and to guide volunteers/vendors in a smooth delivery of programme activities. He/she will also connect and coordinate with other organisations to execute collaborative, inclusive and client-centric programmes, to manage communications and feedback from stakeholders, and to conduct outreach activities to other organisations and the community.
**Programme and Event Coordination**
- Conduct programmes based on client needs
- Conduct needs assessment to support development of programmes based on client needs
- Provide programme updates to supervisor
- Identify areas of improvements in programmes
- Implement quality control and compliance procedures
- Maintain records. attendance and progress evaluation of clients and caregivers
- Develop information materials for distribution to clients and volunteers
**Resource Management and Administrative Roles**
- Take stock of programme resources (hardware and software) and provide updates to supervisor
- Source, guide and coordinate volunteers/vendors in executing assigned events and/or activities
- Provide clerical and administrative support to account for financial and procurement matters.
**Stakeholder Relations**
- Coordinate with internal and external agencies for the execution of assigned events and/or activities
- Manage communications and feedback from stakeholders
- Support outreach activities to targeted client group/s, other organisations, and the community
- Support the development of community outreach plan with the Community Based Support Services team
QUALIFICATIONS
- Min Diploma with 1- 2 years working experience
OTHER INFORMATION
- Social Service sector / programme management experience will be an advantage
- Hands on with strong communication and good interpersonal skills and the ability to influence.
- Have Strong Interest and Open Attitude towards understanding Persons with Intellectual Disability and their needs.
- Demonstrates understanding of and commitment to MINDS’ core values.
