**BAT SINGAPORE IS LOOKING FOR A MATERIAL HANDLER**

**FUNCTION**: Operations

**LOCATION**:Singapore

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

The role is responsible for supporting Manufacturing Operations to achieve its volume objectives by providing efficient and effective management in finished goods' ordering, inventory control and impact shipment tracking by supervising supplies, logistics services and warehousing services, as well as owning the goods' handling.

**Geographic Scope: SINGAPORE**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Supervise full spectrum of warehouse and logistics, including inventory management, transportation and shipment to ensure all operations are smooth and avoid any supply interruptions.
- To ensure BAT product are at a consistent quality standard, meet the product specification and conform to all relevant regulations / standards, supervise stock level and product freshness in BAT warehouse to be aligned with agreed BAT stock policy
- Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
- Accountable for end-to-end process of demand and inventory management, from receiving sales needs forecasts through stock procurement to finished goods control in the warehouse and safe inventory holding.
- Ensure optimum utilization of the available material-handling equipment’s through on-the-spot machinery and equipment repairs, high plant availability, effective crewing and staff training.
- Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move pallets from one location to another, stuffing into containers.
- Handling all daily incoming and outgoing materials and products.
- Supply of raw materials from warehouse to production floor
- Assist in improving production processes and approaches to repairs of machinery for high efficiency and good quality.
- Comply to company EH&S safety standards, promote safety awareness and safe working practices.
- Ability to work proactively to identify issues and opportunities in trade initiatives, and develop effective and efficient recommendations in order to achieve excellence cycle execution

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Valid forklift license with at least 2 years driving experience. Able to drive BT Truck and pallet jet.
- Able to work flexible working hours
- Good numerical skills such as multiplication and division to ensure the accuracy of verifying materials delivered against the delivery note.
- Proficient in MS Excel for data compilation and reporting
- Possesses positive outlook and good physical fitness
