Roles & Responsibilities

The AMD Fundamental Equity business manages significant client assets by investing in global markets based on fundamental stock-picking strategies. Our technology team is dedicated to FE and works directly with a number of teams including Portfolio Managers, Portfolio Construction, Traders and Strats with presence across New York, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong & India. You will collaborate with a global team of engineers to build software solutions that meet the needs of all aspects of the business, therefore you will learn a wide breadth of Technical and Functional skills. You will have the opportunity to work across the full technology stack, delivering impactful and commercial products in partnership with our desk.

**How Will You Fulfill Your Potential**:

- Full stack development with Java, Angular, NoSql Databases and Real Time Distributed Systems
- Build scalable services using the latest web & server-side technologies
- Build a unified world-class technology platform supporting all aspects of the investment process
- Work in challenging yet fulfilling environment which gives opportunity to work on critical projects to drive business growth
**Basic Qualifications**
- Minimum of 3+ years of software development experience
- Fluency in Java or other JVM language
- Solid analytical skills and appreciation of technical risk
- Highly motivated, committed and capable of working to timeline
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Angular, Java Script and UI technologies
- Familiarity with SQL & NoSQL DB like Sybase, Mongo, ElasticSearch and other related technologies
- Desire to work in a technical role closely aligned with a front-office business
