We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Network Markets Specialist.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Management of Offshore Activities - provide supervisory oversight to the various offshore teams supporting the Markets business in Singapore. Provide training and guidance on complex issues and products. Services provided include trade validation, confirmation, settlements, reconciliation, and cash management for products FX, Money Market, Derivatives, Securities, FX Options, and Collaterals
- Risk & Controls - manage operational risk via close monitoring of KRIs, governance forums, and ensuring key risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated. Ensure teams adhere to FIM guidelines. Face-off with internal/external audit and NFR during control reviews
- Business Support - Support GM’s new businesses and mandates and operationalise the requirements, participate in new products reviews and system implementations. Lead/contribute to process improvement initiatives, projects, and system enhancements.
- Client Service - point of contact for strategic clients, RMs, Sales, and Traders for queries, issues, and escalations
- Regulatory - work with Compliance, Trade Reporting and Regulatory Change, participate in MAS-led industry consultations, be involved in projects relating to new regulatory requirements ensuring requirements for Operations are assessed and implemented
- Outsourcing Management - drive and ensure new GM Ops outsourcing arrangement and annual assessment are in compliance with SGH Outsourcing Framework which incorporates the local Regulatory and group requirements

**Qualifications**
- University degree in Finance, BA/BS, or related discipline(s)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the banking industry, working in Securities Operations, Client Servicing and Middle Office
- Exposure to Treasury products is an advantage
- Knowledge in the use of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is a must. Knowledge in macros and MS Access is an advantage
- Can demonstrate experience in managing relationship with external and internal clients and improve client experience
- Effective problem solving and critical thing skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines, attention to details on the risk mitigation and control
