**We have available Assignments for you if you have experience in GEAR-UP (Guiding & Empowering students for Affiliation & Resilience to Unlock their Potential) Programmes.
**You should have the following experiences:
**a. Past experience & the necessary skills to work with students with Low learning abilities, Special Education Needs and/or at Risk Youth
**b. Be able to design and plan a developmentally appropriate enrichment programme for them
**c. motivate students and equip them with life skills and values through life skills lessons.
**d. Be familiar with GEAR-UP programs (see below)
**GEAR-UP programs aim to achieve these objectives:
**1. To contribute to overall efforts in building a caring culture and safe environment for kids to interact and build strong, positive relationships and a greater sense of connectedness and belonging.
**2. To provide a safe and supportive place for meaningful activities, self-study and recreation after curriculum hours, and where developmental opportunities are available for students to build Social and Emotional (SE) competencies, and leadership skills.
**3. Participants must be able to build and maintain positive relationship with others such as their peers and teachers.
**4. Students must show an improvement in social and emotional competencies through a pre and post self-report; increase in positive relationships built with teachers and classmates; show an improvement in general attendance at school.
