Singapore MHA - Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) Full time

**What the role is**

The Stay Home Notice (SHN) Investigation Officer is responsible for carrying out the investigations of suspected breaches of the SHN within ICA’s monitoring and other related offences under the Infectious Diseases Act and its subsidiary legislations.

**What you will be working on**

Primary responsibilities
Investigation of SHN breaches
- Assess cases of reported breaches from referral or detecting parties
- Record statements from witnesses and accused persons
- Collect and corroborate evidence relating to the offences investigated
- Manage and organise investigation papers
- Put up summary of facts on investigation finding and recommendations to AGC on the appropriate actions to be taken against accused persons
- Ensure proper record updating of case outcome
Assist in Prosecutions of SHN breaches
- Draft charges and statement of facts
- Arrest accused persons and serve charges
- File charges in court system
- Assist and coordinate with AGC in putting up submissions to Courts

**What we are looking for**

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of using the CRIMES2 system in managing and tracking investigation progress is an added advantage.
