Global Odm Planner

Over the last few years, Dell has enabled numerous other sales channels including retail and manufacturing with partner ODMs. The Dell SC is getting transformed with multiple modes of manufacturing and fulfillment to service demands from different customer segments.

**Job Description**:

- Responsible for ODM capacity planning for WW Client (Notebook/Desktop/Tablet/IoT) demand.
- Plan rolling 13 weeks of sales, build and ship planning for multiple fulfillment models i.e. Configure-to
- Order (CTO), Build-to-Plan (BTP) and Build-to-Stock (BTS).
- Identify ODM factory equipment line requirements and work with ODMs to secure right equipment capacity to meet demand.
- Plan and negotiate ODM factory staffing capacity to fulfill on-time customer delivery and cycle-time.
- Manage and execute product transition planning through close collaboration with Core Team on supportability - Launch, Sustain & EOL.
- Coordinate with Regional Supply Chain Planning (DAO, EMEA & APJ) on demand phasing (pull-in or push out) requirements based on ODM factory capacity situation
- Proactively manage product lead-time recommendation to Regional Supply Chain Planning.
- Manage and drive ODM facility start-up & shutdown.
- Drive key metrics like forecast accuracy, capacity utilization and on-time performance (OTP).
- Roll out innovative technology and business optimization models that increase supply chain capabilities.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5-8 years’ experience with Global Supply Chain Management.
- Experience in working on Global Programs / projects.
- Good leadership skills with ability to manage and deliver in an ambiguous environment.
- Ability to build alignment, commit to outstanding teamwork and ability to work across organizational boundaries.
- Strong data management and analytical skills is needed.
- Excellent articulation / communication skill (written and verbal)
- Ability to take night calls as this role will need to work with global stake holders.
- High adaptability to changing requirements / market dynamics / work demands
- Competent with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Words, Power-point).
- Possess strong knowledge of Data Simulation & Modelling Tools.
- Ability to converse in Mandarin and experience in managing ODM supply chain planning will be added advantage.
