- Manage project timelines and coordinate with other departments or contractors.
- Review blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical drawings.

Safety and compliance

- Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, industry standards, and company safety policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures, such as lockout/tagout and PPE usage.
- Train staff on safety regulations and new work methods.

Technical and administrative tasks

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project documentation.
- Manage inventory of electrical supplies and assist with ordering.
- Assist with budget preparation and ensure projects stay within budget guidelines.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as preparing permits and certificates.

Staff and team development

- Hire, train, and mentor junior electrical staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide technical support.
- Communicate effectively with staff and senior management.
