Manager, Connectivity Cluster

Job Responsibilities
As part of the Connectivity Cluster team, you will be responsible for:
- Review of technologies, and prioritization and commercialization of the Company's intellectual properties (“IP”) for the Connectivity sector, which includes segments such as Aviation/Aerospace, Land Transport and Maritime/Marine and Offshore.
- Working closely with research performers and external entities to drive innovation for economic impact through establishing the value chain with key industry and/or public agency stakeholders, and leveraging support from appropriate grant schemes.
- Understanding key trends and landscape of relevant technologies, picking out appropriate technologies to champion industry partnership, spin-off creation and technology licensing to achieve value capture for Singapore.
- Structuring and negotiation of licensing and research collaboration agreements with external entities.
**Qualifications**:
- A good degree in Science/Engineering or a related discipline with 3 to 5 years of working experience, preferably in sectors related to the Connectivity Cluster, as mentioned above.
- Relevant business or commercialisation experience and knowledge of new and emerging technologies in areas relating to digitalisation, advanced materials and sustainability.
- Effective presentation skills and good verbal & written communication ability.
- Passionate about emerging technologies and product innovation.
In addition, experience in IP commercialisation, product development and/or entrepreneurship is desirable.
