**Curriculum Writer (2-Year Contract)**

- The Write Connection (TWC) is an educator of English and English Language Writing skills. We are looking to groom Curriculum Writers to become specialists in creating materials for teaching English and Writing in the highly regarded TWC Way.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

As a Curriculum Writer, your primary focus will include the preparation, writing, proofreading and editing of TWC’s curriculum to be used in the classroom as well as other publications for TWC. Reporting to the Curriculum Manager, you will work together with TWC’s Curriculum Team to ensure the smooth delivery and quality of TWC’s curriculum.

Your job responsibilities include:

- Create and review high quality content for learning/teaching materials
- Edit content of curriculum
- Proofread written work
- Proofread and edit TWC’s publications
- Coordinate workflow within curriculum team and other relevant teams
- Other duties associated with the role and assigned by your line manager

**REQUIREMENTS**

Applicants must fulfil the following criteria:

- Degree from a reputable university; related fields of Law, Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences and Communications is a plus
- Experience in teaching Primary and Secondary school levels will be an added advantage.
- Qualifications in editorial work and/or English teaching is an added bonus
- Excellent academic track record, particularly in English, General Paper (GP), and/or English Literature at ‘O’ and/or ‘A’ levels
- Meticulous, high quality work standard
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to adhere to tight deadlines and possess strong organisational skills
- Familiar with using Microsoft Word for layout
