Irrigation Specialist

**Job Functions**:

- Coordinate the activities of subordinates
- Assign and inspect the work of irrigation workers, initiate corrective action to secure satisfactory standards and timely project completion
- Plan and develop work schedules, equipment usage schedules and procedures for equipment maintenance
- Maintain cost records which may include time and material costs and estimate irrigation design and repairs
- Maintain accurate landscape drawings manually or on computer design system
- Maintain accurate records of water usage to maximize water efficiency, review, approve, or change contract specifications
- Coordinate with electrician and other appropriate departments including contractors in the design, installation and repair of automated underground lawn sprinkler systems
- Ability to decide, purchase and use the drip and sprinkler materials as per site requirements
- Selection criteria and purchase of irrigation pumps
- Design the drop and sprinkler irrigation system based on the discharge and head requirement at site
- Troubleshoot pump systems used in irrigation using suitable contractors
- Planning and execution of routing of electrical and irrigation pipes for high-rise buildings

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree/Diploma in Landscape Irrigation/Agricultural Engineering
- Preferably 3 to 5 years of experience with inspection, repair, and installation of sprinkler system design
- Knowledge of control panel for pumps and irrigation systems
- Knowledge of solenoid valves installation and irrigation controller installation
- Knowledge of Fertigator and sand filter
- Skilled in pipe flows, gallonages, pipe sizing, friction losses, run times, systems efficiency, spacing, and head selection
- Ability to read blue prints
- Good communication skills
- Singaporean/PRs only
