The Strategic Sourcing Manager reports to the Group Chief Commercial & Operating Officer - Long Term Position - Top Niche Specialised Technology Integrator focused on Mission Critical Markets in Indonesia with close relationships with top US/European/Asian technology OEM's - US$XXXM annually - 20th Floor Samsung Hub - High Class 7* Office Environment

The Commercial & Operations functions oversees presales & post sales activities including & analysing Bid requests and managing Strategic Sourcing for technology products, compiling Supplier options, proposals and sub contracts meeting requirements for Bids for the overseas Sales & Customer facing teams.
- Working closely with Overseas Sales/Customer Facing teams as well as System Solutions, Finance & Purchasing teams
- Managing the end to end process from receipt of Bids and requirements to finalising suppliers options and soliciting proposals from them
- Reviews proposal specifications with the System Engineering Manager to identify unique requirements & suppliers, and the proposal impact with them
- Identify options for products from different OEM’s in consultation with System Solutions Manager
- Co-ordinating formal proposals from Suppliers meeting Bid requirements including comparisons of overall proposals
- Sourcing and qualifying new suppliers and expansion of the contractor supply base. Evaluation and qualification of new and current suppliers
- Tracks proposal compliance, evaluates compliance concerns, and escalates non-compliance issues with the System Engineering Manager
- Build integrity relationships & negotiate with Suppliers to ensure best price proposals meeting specs and Supplier delivery and quality performance
- Attaining cost reductions & margin targets both pre and post book award
- Maintain & update product cost databases/Price Lists of all Suppliers/OEM’s & negotiate best prices & terms with them, prepare BOM’s & terms for their Contracts
- Preparation of Bid margins for proposals with OEM’s prices, risk analysis for tenders and contracts and preparing different scenario options incl Gantt charts & presentations
- Ensures supplier proposal quality & standardisation by reviewing proposal from front to back cover to minimize errors and risks
- Manages supplier proposal documents, file sharing, formatting, print documentation and version control, Archives proposals and project files for easy reference
- Ensure that pricing and gross margin information is kept confidential

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelors in Electronics/Communication Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 15+ years’ experience in Systems, Product & Engineering functions
- In
- Diverse experience in the technology field covering Telecom, Network, IT, Security & Airborne solutions
- Experience dealing with Suppliers/Global MNC’s from USA, Europe & Asia
- Tools/Technologies: Advanced knowledge in Work, Power Point, Excel, Projects, Extensive knowledge of short-cut keys.
- Good written, editing, and proofreading and oral communication & presentation skills
- Strong negotiation, proactive & multi-tasking and time management skills
- Extensive experience coordinating groups remotely & high integrity.
- Able to independently and concurrently manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and adapt to constant changes & revisions in bid requirements
- Proficiency in Indonesia Bahasa an advantage
