**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Your role**

You are a member of the Global Finance team based in Singapore providing support for general accounting and internal reporting. This is a contract role with a minimum term of 1 year.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Manage full set of accounts, including payments, receipts, intercompany recharges, closing entries etc.
- Ensure employee expense claims are properly accounted for in the Concur system
- Provide timely and accurate financial information to internal and external parties with appropriate analysis and narrative
- Ensure processes and procedures are compliant with Gen Re’s internal operating protocol and external requirements
- Participate in initiatives and projects as assigned from time to time

**Your profile**
- Minimum diploma or equivalent qualification in Finance/Accounting or related discipline
- At least 2 years’ experience in general accounting, preferably in a multinational environment
- Good knowledge of financial/accounting principles
- Excellent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in SAP is preferred
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Independent worker and good team player
