**Team Overview**

The primarily responsibility of the team is to administer and provide operational support for the APAC Investment teams for derivatives. The role is varied covering trade capture, lifecycle events, collateral management and/or margins, new instruments and adhoc tasks for a wide range of derivatives.

**What you'll do**
- The role covers trade affirmation and confirmations, lifecycle events, collateral management and/or margins, ad-hoc initiatives and internal stakeholder management.
- To lead and manage the team to provide operational support to the Investment Team and to ensure smooth settlement of OTC derivatives
- Management of margin and collateral processes internally and externally including dispute resolution. Ensure cash, position and trade reconciliations are completed on a daily basis.
- Assist internal stakeholders in reviewing and follow-up of ISDA and CSA during negotiation phase.
- Constantly assess internal procedures and determine that controls are adequate and efficient.
- Ensure the team is fully resourced and trained for the day to day activities
- Undertake team appraisals and feedback.
- Support the manager in integrating all derivatives related changes into BAU, assisting in planning and conducting UAT when required.
- Escalate issues to senior management that falls outside agreed service standards where appropriate.

**The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need**
- A good knowledge of OTC products and processes, and regulatory requirements that will impact mainly the APAC and EMEA regions.
- Previous knowledge of Aladdin is desirable but not essential.
- Would be in a position to provide advice and guidance to more junior members of staff.
- Good understanding of operational risks and control frameworks
- Strong advocate of continuous improvement in quality and delivery
- Effective communication skills, written, presentational and verbal
