Regional Senior Manager - Systems Development
**Description**:
We seek a senior development manager to manage and coach the development team to provide support to the systems in Asia Pac and cope with the growth and increasing demands.
**Responsibilities**:
- Understand needs and propose IT solutions.
- Design systems and define appropriate development framework.
- Manage the whole development life cycle and communicate with stakeholders.
- Manage development team.
- Manage business-as-usual support.
- Propose solution on improvement and change.
- Work with infrastructure team on architecture design, security, IT compliance, and deployment and support.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Programming, IT or equivalent.
- Recent hands-on experience with sufficient knowledge to resolve programmer difficulties and provide guidance.
- Experience in MS SQL, MySQL and Oracle.
- Familiar with M365 tools like Teams and SharePoint Online at developer level.
- Adequate experience and knowledge in commercial insurance brokerage, reinsurance, risk management etc.
- Knowledge in Ebix eGlobal or similar.
- Good writing and communication skills in English.
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
