The Psychologist is required to provide psychological services and interventions to clients by working in a multi-disciplinary team of social workers, counsellors and allied professionals to promote their mental well-being by addressing their cognitive, social, emotional and behavioural needs.

**Job responsibilities**:

- Conduct psychological assessments and therapy services to clients and their family members/caregivers.
- Serve as a clinical resource to the team, providing specialist advice and consultative support on the provision of therapeutic care in relation to the child and his/her family. This may also include providing consultations to caregivers and families on the understanding and management of the child, so as to maximise their capabilities.
- Assist in staff coaching related to therapeutic intervention. Where necessary, the psychologist may provide relevant sharing of information to staff and other stakeholders on the understanding and management of the child.
- Provide psychological inputs during case conferences.
- Maintain updated records of psychological interventions and reports.

**Requirements**:

- Master degree qualification in Clinical/Applied Psychology from a recognised university with a minimum 3 years of relevant experience working with children and families.
- Registered Psychologist with Singapore Psychological Society.
- Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills
- Good report writing skills, communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of trauma, attachment and resilience theory, child and adolescent development, behavioural management techniques, and childhood issues such as emotional disturbances and learning disabilities.
