Cyber Security Engineer

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and deploy distributed architecture for cybersecurity solutions, including SIEM platforms like LogRhythm.
- Set up and manage Group Policies for system-wide security enforcement and compliance.
- Deploy and maintain Windows Active Directory Servers, including security configurations and access controls.
- Conduct monthly security advisories, assess risk, and lead patch management efforts to ensure all systems are fully updated.
- Perform system vulnerability assessments, audits, and remediation planning.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to harden infrastructure and ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in **cybersecurity engineering** or IT security roles.
- Hands-on experience with **LogRhythm** or similar SIEM tools.
- Strong knowledge of **Active Directory**, **Group Policy**, and **Windows Server administration**.
- Familiarity with **vulnerability assessment tools** (e.g., Nessus, Qualys).
- Ability to analyze and respond to security advisories and implement patching solutions.
- Solid understanding of **network security**, **threat modeling**, and **incident response**.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certifications such as **CISSP**, **CEH**, **CompTIA Security+**, or **Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals**.
- Experience in enterprise or government projects with stringent security requirements.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: $5,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month
