Head of Marine - Direct Insurance Company - Singapore

An Established Insurance company is looking for Head of Marine based in Singapore. As one of the key executives of the commercial line business, the Marine Head will play a critical role in setting the business strategy and building the capabilities and market presence.

You will be responsible for
- Developing and implementing the marine underwriting strategy in line with the company's overall objectives and risk appetite.
- Overseeing the assessment, evaluation, and pricing of marine insurance risks, including cargo, hull, and liability coverages.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other key stakeholders in the marine insurance market
- Leading the marine underwriting team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement

You are expected to bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field. Professional insurance qualifications are highly desirable
- More than 10 years of experience in marine insurance underwriting, with a proven track record of managing and leading teams.
- Demonstrated success in managing relationships with brokers, clients, and external partners.
- Excellent communicator with good numerical and presentation skills

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: Up to $240,000.00 per year
