As the ASEAN & South Pacific Design Director, you will work to lead all aspects of the local and regional brands’ image, to continuously drive relevance to the target audience and to protect the integrity of the brands’ experiences. You will also take ownership of how all global brands’ image is executed across the operating unit.

**What You will Do for Us**
- Lead the ASEAN & South Pacific Design team and create an inspiring and empowering team environment with an open communication culture.
- Lead the ASEAN South Pacific Design team to ensure the global brands’ visual identity systems are executed with excellence and in line with global standards
- Lead the ASEAN South Pacific Design team to develop world-class visual identity systems for ASP’s regional and local brands’
- Partner and build strong relationships with external agencies to develop authentic and compelling design and tone of voice tools, such as logo style guides, go-to-market asset frameworks, standards and guidelines
- Build and manage a tailored roster of external agency partners who are best suited for ASEAN & South Pacific’s Portfolio of Brands
- Partner and build strong relationships with key internal functions and stakeholders and inspire collaboration and best design practices across these partners
- Lead Portfolio design strategy and identify opportunities to improve design excellence across the region through all strategies and tactical plans
- Demonstrate and deliver a strong ability to innovate, build design capability and allocate resources for continuous improvement across design operations, design craft and design execution/ production.
- Bring an operational and business mindset to understand and develop solutions for both upstream and downstream design challenges (across functions and key stakeholders)
- Oversee a best-in-class, systematised and expedited artwork production process, emphasising accuracy of technical specifications that covers the artwork build stage, all approvals and eCommerce image creation.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required
- Must possess at least 10+ years of significant Creative Development Experience and Design Strategy.
- Direct experience with design strategy, logo design, graphics, packaging, art direction and branding and working with design agencies
- Preference for experience developing photography, styling, product design and shopper marketing
- Experience working with marketing in the field is preferred
- Experience working in cross-functional and cross-geographical teams is preferred
- Communication, influencing and negotiation skills across multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience in leading teams across geographies
