The Project Engineer is responsible for the safe, efficient and timely construction of piping works. The incumbent is required to perform the tasks that includes, but not limited, to the following:
- Supervise field inspection of material, equipment, and workmanship
- Provide technical advice to construction workers
- Explain requirements on engineering activities and design specifications
- Coordinate with Client, other disciplines and Subcontractors to ensure smooth work progress
- Guide, train and supervise personnel
- Expedite issuance of drawings and other engineering documents to assigned sub-contractor(s)
- Plan the work to ensure efficient use of manpower and resources; estimate the required man-hours for completion
- Coordinate with the Safety Department for work commencement and HSE implementation
- Ensure safe practices on site, and report any good/bad practices for improvements
- Attend weekly meeting to discuss on weekly progress achieved
- Report the status of work progress and quality of work accomplished to the Project Manager
- Direct sub-contractors to ensure work productivity and quality is met and all necessary administrative work is in order
- Prepare and issue the following for the respective parties - Job Confirmation Sheet, Site Instruction and Job Completion Report for any additional or modification to work
- Initiate construction execution plan target
- Organise and set up piping data sheet for piping works control and monitoring
- Follow up with various supervisors to ensure the data is updated in a timely manner
- Organize piping testing group to control and execute piping testing activity, such as, test package preparation, punch list, pressure test and reinstatement
- Establish the sequence of priority system for piping completion with respective sections and ensure that resources are in accordance to planned
- Organise and control shop fabrication activities

**Job Requirements**
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Postive attitude and willing to learn
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, training will be provided
