**Responsibilities**:
**THE ROLE**:
AMD Supply Chain Team is on the lookout for a dynamic and systematic Senior Supply Chain Specialist to join the Capacity Planning Team

**THE PERSON**:

- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must excel in a dynamic team working environment
- Must be a self-starter and be able to independently drive tasks to completion
- Good Team player and a driver in vendor engagement and stakeholder communication
- Ability to converse in mandarin will be an advantage (to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates)

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Analyze appropriate data to prepare the schedules, plans and forecast.
- Continually monitor and review plans and make adjustments in the event of unforeseen circumstances
- Reconcile variances from original plans and maintain a view of actual against forecast projection
- Continually review ways in which to make improvements and make the capacity planning process more efficient
- Communicate / liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers on forecast, demand changes and ensure efficient resource utilization
- External supply chain acumen - basic understanding of customers, products, suppliers and respond to external changes which aligns to management expectations.
- Using data from input, outputs and mechanics for planning analysis and driving execution effectively to achieve established metrics.
- Possess basic knowledge in using essential planning tools and systems.
- Excel Macro and SQL Knowledge, Power BI will be added advantage

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**:

- Fresh Graduates / 2-3 years of working experience in supply chain planning field

**ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS**:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering
