Medical Translator

**Working hrs: 5 days office hrs, alternate Saturday half day**

Medical Translator chaperone and assist patients with limited English proficiency, handle all logistic arrangement (enquiry, medical appointments, admission/evacuation, entry visa/visa extension, accommodation, ambulance and limousine services). To travel to all IHH Healthcare Singapore Hospitals and clinics accredited to PHSPL.

**Key accountabilities**:

- a. Chaperone Services
b. Visa arrangements & ICA duties
c. Arranging of accommodation in Singapore during medical treatment period
d. Travel arrangement, reconfirmation of tickets and reschedule of tickets for patient and accompanying personnel
e. Multi language interpretation during consultation with doctor for patient with limited English proficiency (Vietnamese language)
f. Arranging of sight-seeing in Singapore for patient and accompanying personnel
g. Doctor’s referral/arrangement of medical appointments
h. Repatriation patient or mortal remains back to their country
i. Managing of IPS office
j. Perform any other duties or to undertake other responsibilities as assigned by Manager or division head

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- a. Diploma/ Degree in any discipline
b. Preferably come with 3 years of customer service experience in the service industry
c. Bilingual and knowledge of foreign language (Vietnamese Language)

**Additional Information**:

- The ability to speak, write and read native mother tongue language (Vietnamese Language)
Good telephone etiquette and customer service skills
Friendly personality and good listening skills
Patient and compassionate towards guests and patients
Proficient in MS Office Pleasant disposition and good complexion
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Team player with ability to work independently
Enthusiastic and dedicated to total customer service Able to work after hours, Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday
