**Job Description**:
The Network Engineer plays a critical role in transforming and innovating our organization, striving to be the best-in-class among on-demand IT Network products and services. As a Network Engineer, you will be part of the global network team, dedicated to enhancing the overall network service and experience for Rockwell Automation end-users in the AP region. Collaborating closely with cross-functional business teams, you will identify areas for improvement, implement network enhancements, and troubleshoot any network-related issues. We are looking for a person with a high level of technical expertise, independence, and problem-solving skills to maintain an efficient and secure network infrastructure.

The Network Engineer will be the primary contact for all network-related matters in the AP region and will be responsible for the rollouts of network projects, including the RokNet program (Global WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi network modernization) and other ongoing initiatives. As an experienced Tech professional, the Network Engineer will encompass both proactive improvements and day-to-day support, ensuring smooth and reliable network services for all AP users.

Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-Day Network Support: Act as the go-to person for resolving network-related queries and issues raised by AP users. Support escalation calls with Cisco and provide timely and effective resolutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.- Implement Network Projects: Lead and participate in various network projects, with a particular focus on RokNet and other relevant initiatives. This involves planning, implementation, testing, and documentation of network enhancements.- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures. Generate regular reports on network performance, incidents, and improvements. Prepare detailed network documentation including logical network diagrams, test plans, configurations, and security standards in Microsoft Visio.- Monitoring and analyzing network performance and offer support to troubleshoot issues related to a breadth of networking technologies including Cisco routers, switches, Palo Alto firewalls, and wireless solutions within the network infrastructure scope.- Planning and performing new deployments, version upgrades and bug fixes on routers, switches, wireless controllers as per company’s standards adhering to suitable and stable versions as per Cisco’s recommendations. (Automating network deployment, monitoring and management procedures by use of automation tools and scripting not limited only to Python, GitHub).- Promoting using of modern technologies, interacting with vendors and research, testing new hardware/software products in labs and present an initiative-taking approach to improve performance, reliability and reduce costs.- Providing design, implement, and offer support to Cisco Data Center technology (Nexus, UCS, ACI, 6500, 9500, etc), managing and supporting enterprise in DDI (DNS/DHCP/IPAM) solution.- Assisting with design of multi-server environments including cloud platforms such as - Azure, AWS (Amazon Web Services), VMware, EHC (Enterprise Hybrid Cloud), NSX (Network Virtualization and Security platform) by developing High-Level network designs (HLDs) and recommend best security practices.- Developing, standardizing, implementing, and maintaining network topologies and security solutions that suits the requirements of manufacturing processes across all Rockwell Automation’s manufacturing plants.- Designing, implementing, and supporting key global customers’ converged business and manufacturing/industrial networks in parallel with overall business strategies.- Coordinating designing and implementing procedures to deploy industry leading SD-WAN, SD-Access, Stealthwatch, Umbrella infrastructure to provide secure, resilient network platforms across the enterprise.Qualifications & Skills:
