Senior Engineer

Manage the IT Services at SIM to meet the SLAs and expectations of all SIM Stakeholders including SUSS.
- Understand, plan, design and execute the enhancements or expansion of IT Services to the growth and change in direction of SIM businesses. Examples: 1) Design, operations, and support of public/hybrid cloud infrastructure with cloud native security paradigm. Develop and implement accordance to cloud adoption framework. 2.) Implementing cloud-native frameworks for enterprise infrastructure. 3). Ensuring the proposed cloud architectures and solutions are exhibit scalability, maintainability, performance, and security and compliant with industry standard and customer needs.
- Understand, plan, design and execute enhancements and maintenance of DAY1 and DAY2 System Infrastructure to ensure reliability, security and service levels are met.
- Maintain system security across the enterprise’s global infrastructure deployments analyse system security threats. Monitors organization’s system for security vulnerabilities and investigates occurrences of violations.
- Develop new skills within IT Services by working with the people to ensure new technology/approaches are implemented to force the pivoting of skills.
- Documentation on SoP, SoW, UAT, internal How-To

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or Cloud Engineering/Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
- Proficiency in Windows Server roles and functions is a must.
- Proficiency in Linux based systems, security infrastructure, security policy orchestration and system automation tools will be an added advantage.
- Ivanti Patching management, Ansible Automation, power automate/powershell and/or other scripting languages.
- Familiarity in AWS Best Practise system management, S3 Bucket, EC2 Instance, VPC, Transit Gateway, VPC Peering, SES, Route53, JSoN/YAML scripting.
- Fluent in Database/RDS management. MS SQL, Oracle.
- Familiar with Call Center Service. Call flow design, Amazon Connect, voice gateway
- Experience with Microsoft EntraID, Conditional Access, Graph API, Azure B2C.
- Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL would be helpful.

- Familiar with open source and other tools for monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.

Professional Education/License (if any)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate/Professional.
- Azure Certified Administrator/Solutions Architect.
- Redhat Certified System Administrator.

**Skills**:

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skill in technologies, including Windows Roles Servers, Linux Server, SAN storage related issue and continue enhancing reliability.
- Maintain, Manage and Monitor Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Cloud security tools like Checkpoint, Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Detective
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced implementation environment
- Knowledge of Veritas Backup solution, Ivanti Patching management, Ansible Runbook Automation, IIS Web, Apache/Tomcat Web.
- Knowledge of Genesys Call Center Solutions, Amazon Connect Call Center. Voice Gateway and SIP trunk integration.
- Automation Scripting experience using PowerShell, Python, YMAL, JSON, Bash.
- Knowledge is Database Management, MS SQL, Oracle and AWS RDS.
