You will be working closely with your lead, Chief Safety & Integrity **Your Purpose** Your role as Privacy Lead will focus on creating, executing and managing key policy guidelines and driving privacy compliance operations. You will be defining global vision and direction in supporting Aaqua’s vision. **Your Focus** Your contribution will include: - Developing and administering both regional and global privacy policies, standards and regulatory requirements in alignment with Aaqua’s goal and mission to empower people to live their passions - Designing a strategy for designing, creating and rolling out of privacy programs and initiatives, and delivering best in class privacy practices for Aaqua members and its partners - Conducting privacy risk assessments and audits - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce quality privacy protection programmes and terms within Aaqua - Review, track and analyse privacy policies throughout to ensure consistency, efficiency and compliance with industry standards - Independently review controls and procedures to implement applicable privacy policies and applicable privacy-related laws, regulations and any country or region-specific procedures developed by the front-line functions and design and/or coordinate independent testing as appropriate - Potentially lead a team of privacy specialists globally at steady state. - Manage data privacy and compliance requirements globally with a focus on APAC privacy frameworks - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to translate the compliance requirements into actionable items - Manage any incoming requests or issues, related to data privacy **Your knowledge**: Given your epic background, you will have deep skills and proven experience in data protection and privacy policy, ideally with a global tech company. As we are a local to seamless global team to truly connect and collaborate, your business English skills are a must. **Your Journey** - J.D., LLB or an equivalent law degree and good standing in a bar association, or a relevant degree from recognized university - Experience in online privacy or other similar privacy field for the past 5+ years - Strong project management and organizational skills as you will be required to work in a hybrid environment across multiple stakeholders located across the globe - Out of ordinary knowledge of privacy policy with respect to management of intellectual property, internet technologies and the online media industry - A good grasp of the key stakeholders in the privacy network, particularly in APAC - Certified Information Privacy Professional accreditation - ** Your Qualities** Your qualities are seen, heard and observed every day through your words, actions and behaviours.
