We are seeking a visionary Senior Researcher and Leader at the director level in the realm of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), with a specialized focus on advancing our enterprise-grade data science capabilities in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Conversational AI, and Generative AI. This leadership role is crucial for spearheading innovative projects that support emerging use cases across the enterprise, in close collaboration with Technology, Marketing, Servicing, and Risk departments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead groundbreaking research and development in AI, focusing on NLP, Generative AI, and large language models, to develop and implement cutting-edge solutions that address complex business challenges and drive significant value.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities at the enterprise level to revolutionize business processes and customer interactions through innovative NLP and Generative AI capabilities.
- Establish and nurture robust partnerships with key stakeholders across the organization to facilitate the integration and adoption of advanced AI technologies for diverse use cases, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and decision-making processes.
- Drive a culture of innovation and technical excellence within the team, continuously exploring and integrating the latest advancements in AI research, including transformers, BERT, auto-regressive language models, and unsupervised learning techniques.
- Oversee the strategic planning and execution of AI projects, employing agile project management frameworks to ensure timely delivery and scalability of solutions from concept to deployment.
- Communicate complex AI strategies and insights effectively to all levels of the organization, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and collective problem-solving.

**Qualifications**:

- PhDs in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Physics.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in advanced machine learning, NLP, and Generative AI, with a substantial track record of leading large-scale projects from inception to successful deployment.
- Demonstrated experience with large language models such as ChatGPT, Llama, PaLM, Bard, Bloom, Vicuna, Mistral, etc., showcasing a strong portfolio of projects that have delivered impactful business outcomes.
- Proficient in agile methodologies, with proven leadership skills in leading high-performing teams and projects in a dynamic, timeline-sensitive environment.
- Outstanding communication and leadership abilities, capable of driving innovation
