**Responsibilities**:

- Partner with product owners, enterprise architects, technology partners, cybersecurity professionals and cross-functional teams to implement company-wide BI solutions.
- Design robust and scalable solutions to meet the data needs whilst establishing standards, guidelines, and best practices for teams utilizing the solution.
- Play an active role in project coordination between internal and third party/vendors for smooth project delivery with a focus on risk mitigation strategies.
- Promote internal/external BI technology strategies, evaluate, and test products, perform proof of concepts, and pilot new technologies/methods.
- Know Agile - Scrum project management experience/knowledge - Ability to prioritise, pushback and effectively manage a data product and sprint backlog.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in cloud-based BI and data management and make recommendations for process improvements and technology enhancements.

**Key Requirements**:

- 10+ years of hands-on experience architecting and implementing large scale Business Intelligence development, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes/Data Hubs, and MDM solution to deliver actionable business insights.
- Strong Technical Expertise in BI Tools like MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau or any standard data visualization/BI tools.
- Expert level skills in SQL with a deep understanding of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) (e.g, PostgreSQL, MSSql), No-SQL Databases (e.g. HBase, ElasticSearch) and MPP databases (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Working Knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from a variety of data sources, preferably in the retail industry.
- Experience working in a multi-vendor environment with geographically distributed teams and effectively lead technical teams.
- E-commerce / logistics / fashion retail background a bonus.
