Lico Resources is proud to collaborate exclusively with this distinguished listed financial institution in the search for a SVP/ED - Technology & Cyber Risk Management. The SVP/ED will spearhead the company's initiatives in managing technology and cyber risks, playing a crucial role in ensuring a robust risk management framework. We are seeking a dynamic individual with a profound understanding of technology risk management principles, coupled with the leadership experience to guide a team of risk professionals. **The Role**: - Establish and manage a comprehensive Technology Risk management framework across the organization. - Govern key processes related to projects, change management, and new technology launches. - Initiate and challenge regular risk assessments, ensuring the adequacy of technology and cyber risk controls. - Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of controls to safeguard technology assets and data. - Stay current with technological advancements and industry trends, assessing emerging risks. - Establish Subsidiary Technology Risk Governance oversight within the risk management framework. - Understand and assess technology regulatory compliance requirements across jurisdictions. - Establish and enforce technology and cyber risk management policies and frameworks in compliance with regulations. - Develop, maintain, and review technology and cyber-related Risk Appetite statements and Key Risk Indicators. - Prepare regular risk reports for the Risk Management Committee, highlighting key issues, trends, and remediation actions. - Communicate technology and cyber risk matters to stakeholders, including executive management, business units, auditors, and regulatory bodies. - Work with the first line of defense to set thresholds for alert monitoring and define stress-testing scenarios. - Lead the team in monitoring and ensuring the closure of flagged issues. Build and lead a high-performing technology and cyber-risk team, fostering a culture of awareness and compliance. **The Requirements**: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Risk Management, or related field. - Extensive experience in technology risk management within financial services. - Familiarity with industry frameworks: NIST Cybersecurity, ITIL, ISO 27001, COBIT. - Professional certifications: CISA, CISM, CRISC (advantageous). - Operational experience in Technology operations and solution (preferred).
