**Position Overview**

The position requires supporting the setup, installation, maintenance, and business-as-usual (BAU) operations of network projects. Highly skilled and experienced network architect and implementation engineer to designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures to support business operations. Must have a deep understanding of network architecture, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to ensure the seamless integration and performance of network systems.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement comprehensive network architecture solutions that meet business requirements and ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Deployment of network solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices, ensuring they are configured and optimized for peak performance.
- Implement and manage network security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Continuously monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure optimal network performance and reliability.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for network-related issues, working closely with IT and other departments to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
- Work closely with other IT professionals, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and support of network systems.
- Perform regular BAU operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing.
- Coordinate with principle vendor for the incidents and support.
- Well verse with ITSM tools and processes.
- Drives continuous improvement and value adds.
- Establish relationships with customer / business units with technical knowledge and solutions.

**Experience**
- Total 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management services
- Total 8+ years of relevant experience in network architecture, including setup, installation, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in cisco network management and administration.
- Proven track record of designing and deploying complex network infrastructures.
- Experience with network security best practices and technologies.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring and performance optimization tools.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving network issues in a timely manner.
- Strong background in Linux system administration.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with ITSM tools and processes.
- Experience in working in infra projects with BFSI customers.
- Experience of global delivery with offshore/ onsite model.

**Mandatory Skills**
- Proficiency in network design and architecture.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Experience with network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and performance optimization tools.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Strong understanding of network virtualization and cloud networking solutions.
- Strong skills in Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Terraform.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with ITSM tools and processes.
- Experience in working in infra projects with BFSI customers.
- Experience of global delivery with offshore/ onsite model.

**Qualification**
- Must have bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT/ engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Must have certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), or equivalent.
- Additional certifications in network security or cloud networking are a plus.
- Good have ITIL certification.
- Must be trained in ITSM tools, process, remedy, service now, jira, confluence, sharepoint.
