J **ob Responsibilities**
- Oversee the construction process to ensure that steel components are fabricated, delivered, and assembled according to design specifications.
- Perform regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and verify that the construction process complies with design plans and safety regulations.
- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during construction, such as misalignments, structural adjustments, or material shortages.
- Work closely with architects, contractors, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, and other professionals to ensure the steel structure integrates seamlessly with the overall design and other building systems.
- Coordinate the design and construction of the steel structure with other building systems like plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and fire safety systems.
- Work collaboratively to resolve issues that arise during the design, fabrication, or construction phases, ensuring timely project delivery.
- Prepare detailed design drawings, technical specifications, and construction plans for the steel structure.
- Provide thorough design calculations, including load-bearing capacity, structural stability, and safety margins.
- Create comprehensive reports on structural analysis, design justification, and compliance with codes, which may be submitted to regulatory bodies or clients for approval.
- Evaluate potential risks and hazards associated with the steel structure, including load capacity, seismic resistance, and wind resistance.
- Ensure that safety protocols are in place for the design, fabrication, and construction of steel structures to minimize accidents and ensure the safety of workers and the public.
- Managing schedules, budgets, and quality control during the project lifecycle.
