**What the role is**
- As an Engineer for the Catchment and Waterways Department's Drainage Operations division under Flood & Incident Response branch, your main roles and responsibilities would include but not limited to:
**What you will be working on**
- 1. Coordinate with external agencies and departments to review operational risks and scenarios that involve the department
2. Liaise with other divisions on the preparation of processes and response plans during peacetime to ensure operational readiness and emergency preparedness
3. Develop department emergency preparedness processes and plans and carry out review regularly
4. Manage the execution of response plans by the various divisions during crisis and national emergencies to ensure high state of operational readiness and response
5. Analyse, coordinate and monitor the execution of emergency SOPs, response plans and emergency exercises within the department
6. Analyse the execution of department emergency response plans/exercises and review the plans to improve the state of operational readiness
7. Assist in flood monitoring in operations center
8. Coordinate flood operations and drainage incident management

**What we are looking for**
- Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering
- Independent, result-oriented and self-driven team player with good communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines as well as result-oriented
- Strong negotiation and project management skills
- Proficient in IT with good writing skills
