Ambulance Medical Service (AMS) is a Private Ambulance Operator established in

2001 with a strong track record of practical experience in the provision of pre-hospital

patient care services AMS operates over 60 full-time ambulances providing

emergency and non-emergency transportation for patients within Singapore and

West Malaysia. We are a principal provider of ground and air-to-ground/tarmac

ambulance transportation in Singapore and West Malaysia.

We are seeking highly-skilled, experienced paramedics and invite applicants to join

care and life support to patients during ambulance transport to a hospital or

emergency room.
- Operate ambulance equipment, respond to official phone transmissions, and maintain verbal contact with Hospital Communication Centers regarding patient condition, crew identities, and location.
- Lead and coordinate the 2-men or 3-men team responding to an emergency. Provide safe and quality advanced and basic emergency medical care and transportation under the guidelines of protocols and standards of care.
- Make reasoned decisions regarding initiating, modifying, or ceasing treatment or procedures and ensure accurate documentation of decisions.
- Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in written documentation.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, responsibility, and accountability
- Ability to communicate verbally in English and one other local language, good interpersonal skills and excellent customer service skills, ability to develop and adapt to change and problem-solving
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision and maintain the confidentiality of the information and able to develop effective professional working relationships with colleagues and public
- Physically fit and able to lift 80kg, comfortable working in a high-demand fast-paced environment
- Willing to work beyond working hours with commensurate benefits
- Must possess min. Class 3 driving license
- Defensive Driving certificate, Standard First Aid Certificate, and BCLS a plus
- Must be able to read GPS and familiarise with the Singapore roads
