The Corporate Affairs and Communications (CAC) department is responsible for managing corporate affairs, branding and reputation, and all internal and external communications. It includes GIC’s interface with key stakeholders, including the general public and media.

Impact & Partnerships

A new function of Corporate Affairs & Communications (CAC), the Impact & Partnerships team looks to build GIC’s global network, organizational purpose and community involvement through developing and managing a strong partnership strategy, programming and an ecosystem of partners.

The complex challenges facing the world today require active partnership and collaboration within and across stakeholder groups to solve. These stakeholder groups include GIC’s enterprise-wide sustainability office and the larger CAC team. GIC’s Social Impact efforts started in 2015 and has grown steadily to include both Singapore (HQ) flagship programmes as well as on-the-ground community outreach across our global offices. The strategic partnership efforts will be groundbreaking with the aim of building GIC’s global profile as a leading global long-term investor. This new, dedicated Partnerships and Impact team within CAC will serve to develop GIC’s external relations strategy, create value with GIC’s network of partners, and extend GIC’s social purpose and community impact across the business. Over time, we expect the team to help align GIC’s position on key public policy issues and processes.

As team lead, you are entrepreneurial and highly adaptable, ready to kickstart this new area of focus for GIC. You have a passion for building networks, embedding organizational purpose, delivering impact and solving challenges. You are required to lead both the social impact and strategic partnership portfolios and be responsible for setting up a clear partnership as well as impact agenda for our 11 offices around the world.

**Responsibilities**
- Effectively manage internal and external stakeholders to make sure that the programmes are aligned with the company's purpose and ambition
- Build and leverage external partnerships, corporate programmes, platforms and network to support GIC’s strategic agenda
- To stay ahead of key developments and ensure they are reflected in the strategy and programmes
- Work across the enterprise to develop GIC’s public policy positioning across a range of key issues
- Drive strong community impact with GIC’s Social Impact programmes through the support of our existing flagship programmes and global community-based outreach activities
- Further reinforce GIC as an investor of communities for the long term, building more confident and inclusive communities
- Establish a strong network of community partners to multiply the impact of corporate giving globally
- Track Social Impact metrics holistically for Sustainability reporting
- Ensure all executions are aligned to the policies and regulations globally
