Gcc Solution Architect

**Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement complex GCC solutions for government agencies in Singapore.
- Understand client requirements, IT infrastructure, and business opportunities to guide the architecture.
- Define architecture and solution components, and deliver appropriate solutions that align with GCC standards and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership in GCC solution design, integration, and implementation efforts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, vendors, and other teams, to gather requirements and develop solutions.
- Ensure GCC solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and methodologies for GCC solution implementation.
- Provide expertise in designing and implementing GCC for government agencies, including GCC configuration, deployment, and administration.
- Participate in proposals, as needed, and support API-based architecture and design for GCC solutions.
- Provide guidance and support to other team members in GCC solution design and implementation activities.
- Ensure compliance with GCC security and compliance requirements, including IM8, data security, and privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, operations, and governance, to ensure seamless integration of GCC solutions.
- Keep abreast of technology trends and best practices related to GCC and cloud computing, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Serve as a point of contact for technical discussions and consultations with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving GCC-related issues and incidents.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of GCC solutions within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Mentor and coach junior team members on GCC architecture, design, and implementation best practices.

**Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 3 years in designing and implementing cloud solutions, specifically within the Singapore Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environment.
- Strong understanding of GCC architecture, standards, best practices, and security requirements.
- Professional certifications related to cloud technologies, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect, are desirable.
- Familiarity with government regulations and compliance requirements, such as IM8, data security, and privacy regulations in Singapore.

**Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge and experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP), including architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Strong expertise in GCC services, features, and capabilities, including virtualization, networking, storage, databases, security, and identity/access management.
- Proficiency in cloud automation and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or ARM templates.
- Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket.
- Understanding of network concepts, such as VPN, VPC, DNS, load balancing, and security groups, within GCC environment.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools, such as Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Splunk, ELK stack, or similar, for troubleshooting and performance analysis in GCC solutions.
