**Responsiilities**:

- Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of telecom systems, including PAGA, CCTV, data networks, and radios.
- Carry out cable routing, glanding, and terminations for both copper and fiber optic cables.
- Conduct signal testing, functionality checks, and loop verification of telecom systems.
- Support system integration and ensure connectivity with control and safety systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve telecom faults or non-conformities identified during pre-commissioning and commissioning phases.
- Ensure all telecom commissioning activities are executed according to project specifications, client standards, and industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate test reports, checklists, and contribute to handover documentation.Coordinate with commissioning engineers and other technical disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.

**Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Minimum NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.

**Experience**:

- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in telecom systems installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Preferably experienced in oil & gas, marine, industrial, or shipyard environments.

**Certifications**:

- Valid SSIC (Shipyard Safety Instruction Course) certification.
- Valid medical clearance, preferably OGUK, or as required by the project.
- Any additional yard-specific or project-required certifications relevant to telecom systems.

**Skills & Knowledge**:

- Solid understanding of telecom systems such as PAGA, CCTV, LAN/WAN networks, VHF/UHF radio systems, telephone systems, and fiber optic cabling.
- Ability to read and interpret network diagrams, telecom layouts, and termination schedules.
- Experience in cable termination, connectorization, testing, and troubleshooting of telecom infrastructure.
- Familiar with commissioning protocols, test procedures, and documentation requirements.

**Work Conditions & Other Requirements**:

- Willing and able to work night shifts as required by project schedules.
- Adaptable to changing site conditions and project timelines.
- Strong focus on safety, including adherence to permit-to-work systems and compliance with project and HSE standards.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to collaborate with electrical and instrumentation teams.
