**Job Description**:

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Evaluation and procurement of mechanical and electrical components
- Strategically partner with organizational stakeholders to source and procure services and materials needed for battery energy storage system
- Negotiate price terms and conditions with contractors/vendors; ensure price competitiveness
- Manage the commercial/technical review and contract negotiation for all major equipment and construction contracts throughout the lifecycle of the process
- Work closely with the engineering, development, technology and accounts teams to analyze procurement options that are consistent with established budgets.
- Issue request for proposals (RFP’s), negotiate prices and contracts to include price, schedule, scope, performance guarantees, specifications, and other legal and commercial terms favorable to VFlowTech
- Issue, track/monitor and follow-up Purchase Orders to suppliers
- Handle shipping matters (e.g. LC, BL etc.) and monitoring of purchases
- Assist with invoicing and payment matters

**Qualifications**:
**Requirements**:

- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, and/or similar field. Fresh grads are welcome
- Past experience in technical, engineering, manufacturing management, or heavy industry procurement experience; energy storage experience a plus.
- Excellent understanding of Supply Chain
- Willingness and ability to travel both locally and internationally for battery services, material, equipment, and contracts.
- Knowledge of contracts, price negotiation and vendor management.
- Ability to source innovatively and evaluate bids and proposals including review of procurement documents.
- Extensive knowledge with established, recognized procurement practices.
- Good knowledge in shipping and payment practices
- Prior relationships with vendors is a plus
- Ability to converse in Mandarin to liaise with our vendors in China preferred
- Passion for energy storage and drive to become technical expert in this revolutionary industry.
