Additional Job Description

**We Are Offering 6 Months Internship To Students Who Are Keen In Doing inventory management for chemicals, part of supply chain management.** In this role, you will have the opportunity in gaining exposure to the process in managing Excess and Obsolete (E&O) items that are part of inventory management:

- .E&O file Consolidation & Surveillance: Consolidate the list of E&O products & identify potential products that will hit E&O. Monitor the list periodically and update results monthly for data submission
- E&O action plan: Work with respective planner/business unit to draft out action plan to salvage the existing E&O products and mitigate the potential products from hitting E&O
- Product Shelf-life extension: Work effectively and proactively with Quality team and/or affiliates from various countries for expired or going to expire products.

**Learning Outcomes**
- Develop skills in data management and analysis pertaining to inventory management
- Understand the importance of E&O under inventory management and how it impacts the different functions; and the job scope for SCM
- Gain interpersonal and communication skills in working with various functions and countries

**Requirements**:

- Undergraduate Degree in Supply Chain Management background
- keen to explore in Supply Chain Management function in chemical industry
- Excellent data processing skills in using Microsoft Excel
- Able to articulate and work with individuals from various countries/functions
- preferred someone who is systematic, meticulous, and enthusiastic individual
