Job Description & Requirements

**Position Summary**

Design and Develop Packaging Products by providing 2D Drawing for customers and operations.

**Main Accountabilities**

The person is in-charge of
- Designing of products as required by the customers through the informations from the Sales Team.
- Preparation of Drawings and Bill of Materials for the products (Foam, Cartons, XPallet).
- Suggests improvements or modifications to current products for customers’ approval.
- Provides support to Production to ensure a more cost effective and more efficient way of producing the products.
- Integrates any requirements not stated by the customer but necessary for the intended use, where known
- Includes statutory or regulatory requirements to the designs, if applicable.
- Provides the specifications of the materials as specified in the Bill of Materials.
- Conduct Drop Tests and Vibration Tests
- Provides the specifications of the products.
- Work independently and can assist the Manager when the latter is not around.
- External discussions with customers together with Sales Team.

**Job Requirements (Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Competencies)**
- Engineering Background (preferably Mechanical, Industrial, Packaging or Design) or any related field.
- Experience in designing.
- Proficient in AutoCAD/ Solidwork or other CAD softwares.
- Knowledgeable in doing 2D & 3D Drawings.
- Preferably has a background in designing packaging materials.
- Has good Organizational and Planning Skills
- Knowledgeable of the concept of Engineering Statics and Dynamics.
- Knowledgeable on Microsoft Office (Word, Office, Powerpoint) or similar softwares.
- Proficient in doing reports (verbal and written)
- Has interest in personal development through new technologies and innovations.
- Good problem-solving skills
- Positive and Motivated

Pay: $2,000.00 - $3,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Drafting: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 03/02/2025
