This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated **Head of Legal **to join the Corio’s rapidly growing offshore wind business and support the transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy. Corio was developed under the Green Investment Group and remains a subsidiary of Macquarie Group (Australia’s largest investment bank) so we have strong financial support to drive the business forward.

Corio Generation’ s global offshore wind business, is responsible for the successful management and delivery of a pipeline of 15+ GW of offshore wind projects, the origination of new opportunities and partnerships as well as the provision of asset management and advisory services to third party investors.

In this role, you will:

- Lead of a team of lawyers supporting Corio’s activities in APAC with responsibility for recruiting, developing and mentoring the team to provide a best in class legal function in the energy space and an excellent service that enables our businesses objectives in the region;
- Report directly to the General Counsel of Corio;
- Be responsible for identifying, assessing and managing all legal risks of Corio’s business in APAC
- Be a leader within Corio across the APAC region and globally, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders and working with your colleagues in Corio Legal to make the team a best in class, technology enabled, global legal function.

You will have more than 10 years of experience in a top tier international law firm and/or a large multinational corporation with a strong track record in M&A, projects, finance and/or corporate matters.

You will either have experience of managing a team or willing to go on a development journey to be a people leader if you don’t have any team management experience.
