Purchasing & Logistics Specialist (6 Months

We are partnering with an agriculture firm in search for a Purchasing & Logistics Specialist for a 6 months contract.
- Key Responsibilities _
- Taking, placing, and following orders (PO/CO) for raw materials administration activities in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Complete and update contract summaries.
- Maintain purchasing documents, files, and records for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Proactively coordinating with internal customers and suppliers to resolve routine purchasing supply issues; expedite outstanding purchasing orders to ensure delivery requirements are met.
- Processes financial data and documents for the purpose of supporting A/C departmental activities.
- Handle and resolve potential conflicts between the Group and 3rd parties (suppliers, customers, and shipping).
- Anticipate and mitigate logístical risks and take initiative in proposing alternative solutions to issues.
- in order to maintain completeness and accuracy of purchasing data.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma/Degree in International Trade/Supply Chain Management (minimum of 3 years sold experience in Agribusiness Trading Operations)
- Good working knowledge of Import/Export procedures, INCOTERMS, and International Trade is required.
- Familiar with documentation and order processing, a good understanding of procurement practices and procedures
- Familiar with MS Word & Excel (PivotTable, VLOOKUP, Match, Index functions)
- Strong attention to detail, organized, analytical mind, independent thinker, and good team player
- Initiative, willing to learn, and can work under pressure Knowledge of GAFTA will be an advantage
