We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer for Distribution Business to join our team in our SE Asia Office in Singapore. This product focused position performs established technical tasks at the sub-system and/or component level for current and future products within a given business unit or corporate area. This involves work across many steps in the product life cycle. Because of the product centred nature of this position, they are very often a central point of coordination and decision making between product line engineers, customer teams, systems engineers, purchasing, suppliers and manufacturing.

This role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

- Review Tender spec and provide deviation list and input to the technical scope of supply for the Sales team
- Design and develop control system to meet customer specification and regulatory requirements
- Develop & Release package bill of material and package design to meet customer specification, Cummins requirements and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct package validation test at our factory and customer site and publish report Provides technical direction to testing and commissioning technicians for the Package
- Work with industry partner or manufacturers to develop package and control system to meet customer specification and regulatory requirements.
- Managing small or medium size of package or project from sales order to commission and handover to customer
- Develop and deliver customer specific engineering document to Customer
- Obtains input from stakeholders such as technical managers, project leaders, other product and manufacturing engineers and supplier partners to deliver information and recommendations that lead to quality product decisions.
- Provides independent leadership of smaller business impact projects or ownership of complex components, products, systems or services with greater elements of ambiguity over the senior or lead engineer level and with full accountability to the project team.
- Delivers independent execution of established and emerging work processes and systems, while still developing technology or product knowledge.
- Leads the development and improvement of work processes and systems across a functional discipline area within a business unit site.
- Provides support and guidance to influence technical direction within a project team and continues to develop proficiency in the competency areas critical to success in the role.
- Operates as a recognized specialist in a discipline or product area within the immediate team.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical design manufacturing and commissioning experience
- Demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making
- Knowledge of Marine and Offshore O&G classification societies and regulations will be advantage
- Experience of using of Creo or Auto CAD will be advantage
- Be capable of delivery through their entire life cycle from concept design to final design
- Experience Team Lead and Project Management for technical deliverables
