Regional Marketing Director, Parfums Asia Pacific

As the **Regional Marketing Director, Parfums APAC, **your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and monitor the Regional Marketing strategy to drive robust business growth and ensure consistent brand representation across our 15 Asian markets, including China/Japan/Korea/India, and all distribution channels such as domestic markets, travel retail, online and offline.
You will serve as the main point of contact between the HQ Product Marketing team and the countries, ensuring that local marketing plans align with regional directives and overall company objectives. Your role will involve empowering markets to capitalize on every business opportunity, such as product launches, opening new distribution channels, and media and influencer activities, by providing operational support, expert guidance, sharing best practices, and delivering tailored training.
**What you can expect from the role:
PRODUCTS
- Define the regional product launch calendar and launch strategy across all touchpoints
- Analyze Beaute Research panels, launch results, and market trends to identify key insights and share with HQ Marketing teams
- Evaluate product potentials for upcoming launches (Year+1/Year+2)
- Allocate Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budget with a focus on icons sampling and trade events
- Coordinate the execution of the local marketing plans
- Participate in and facilitate Asia regional meetings
- Attend trade meetings (JBP/TFWA) to present marketing plans and 360
COMMUNICATION/PR
- Define the regional media plan and campaign guideline
- Coordinate the execution of the media campaign with markets and the media agency (localization of media orchestration, availability of assets, campaign validation within budget)
- Define a regional PR event plan
- Evaluate KOL/influencer opportunities and define 360 plans
- Manage strategy and content for Social Media accounts (Line, Kakao, WeChat )
VISUAL MERCHANDISING
- Define the regional VM plan and ensure its execution by working closely with the Regional Merchandising team and markets
- Define guidelines and execution for trade plans and events in coordination with Markets and the Regional Merchandising team
FORECASTING
- Define forecast guidelines for every launch in collaboration with the Supply Planner and Logistic team
- Monitor countries’ forecasts
**We are looking forward to meeting you**:
- 10+ years of marketing experience in Asian markets with the creation & execution of product 360, including multiple touchpoints (trade, media, PR, CRM, digital)
- Solid experience in Fragrance, ideally from selective/department store brands
- Knowledge of Asian markets (cultures, textures, distribution)
- Experience in both offline and online media + media agency management
- Experience in PR (relations with media, organisation of events and KOL/influencers selection/activations)
- Meticulous, vital analytical and problem-solving skills
- Pro-active, hands-on, able to work independently, organised, team player
- Passion for luxury brands /luxury products/ luxury sector
