Leader is a high-tech environmental technology provider listed on SGX. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and implementing our AI solutions for wastewater treatment processes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Fluency in Chinese is a requirement for this role, as you will be communicating with Chinese clients.

In this role, you will be involved with the end-to-end development and implementation of machine learning models to predict wastewater treatment processes. In addition, you will be expected to translate the state-of-the-art techniques into products and deploy them at scale. Our technology team has developed innovative solutions in the wastewater treatment area and we are heading towards the next phase of innovative solutions.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and translate data into actionable insights

2. Develop various machine learning models to simulate wastewater treatment processes

3. Conduct studies to enhance the performance of machine learning models

4. Develop techniques to streamline machine learning workflows

5. Deploy machine learning models in real projects

**Requirements**:
1. Master or PhD degree in an engineering-related field with at least two years of relevant work experience.

2. Fluent in Chinese (both spoken and written) for client communication

3. Proficient in Python programming

4. Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, including tree-based models (XGBoost, LightGBM) and neural network models (RNN, LSTM)

5. Familiarity with the entire model lifecycle from data preprocessing to deployment

7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
