**About the Role**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated **Estimating Assistant**to support our estimating team in preparing accurate cost estimates and proposals for construction projects. This entry-to-mid level role is ideal for individuals with strong organizational and analytical skills who are eager to develop their career in construction estimating.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist estimators in reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Support in preparing quantity take-offs and material lists.
- Gather supplier and subcontractor quotes for pricing comparisons.
- Maintain and update estimating databases, cost records, and proposal templates.
- Help compile bid packages and proposals for submission.
- Perform administrative tasks such as document control, filing, and scheduling.
- Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely information flow.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Diploma, Certificate or Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (or relevant experience).
- Previous experience in estimating, construction, or administrative support is an asset but not required.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with estimating software is a plus.
- Good organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
