Singapore Cleantech Energy Corporation Pte Ltd Full time

Cleantech Solar is seeking an experienced individual to add to its rapidly expanding team of technical professionals. The incumbent will be responsible for contributing to the team goals of managing existing PV systems and ensuring optimal performance. This includes managing the monitoring configuration and handover of new sites from the Projects team, leading local O&M execution and supporting contractor management.

**Responsibilities**

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

- Conducting daily performance monitoring and analysis of PV systems using remote monitoring platforms
- Troubleshooting system issues and coordinating resolution/s with O&M contractors and service providers
- Supporting and leading preventive and corrective maintenance activities performed by third-party contractors, ensuring safety and quality compliance
- Assisting with and overseeing the technical handover of new systems from the Projects team, including monitoring set up, documentation review and performance benchmarking
- Analysing system KPIs such as availability, PR (Performance Ratio), and energy yield
- Initiating and implementing performance improvement plans for sites performing below expectations
- Reviewing O&M documentation, reports and contractor invoices; maintaining accurate records
- Managing work permit approvals and ensuring compliance with safety requirements at customer sites
- Preparing or contributing to periodic asset performance reports and improvement recommendations
- Ensuring all O&M activities comply with local regulatory, environmental and safety standards
- Travelling to project sites as required for inspections, troubleshooting or issue resolution

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or other Engineering fields as training will be provided
- Open to fresh graduates with relevant academic background and interest in solar PV systems
- For Senior Engineer level: 5 years of experience in solar PV operations and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of PV systems, electrical troubleshooting and performance optimisation techniques
- Hands-on experience with solar monitoring systems
- Proven ability to manage contractors and coordinate site activities independently
- Strong analytical and reporting skills; attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Based in Singapore with willingness to travel locally to project sites as required
- Familiarity with Singapore’s workplace safety regulations and permit requirement

**Location**
- Job location for the above position is in Singapore and may require travel to various Cleantech Solar sites and locations to other Southeast Asian countries
