Clinic Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinic Assistant to join our medical team. The Clinic Assistant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our patients, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients and checking them in for appointments
- Answering phone calls and responding to patient inquiries
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining the appointment calendar
- Maintaining accurate patient records, including medical history and personal information
- Ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy
- Coordinating patient referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Assisting with clinic procedures and treatments, as directed by the physician or nurse practitioner
- Maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment
- Ordering and stocking clinic supplies as needed
- Adhering to clinic policies and procedures, including those related to infection control and patient safety
- Participating in training and continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skills relevant to the role
- Other duties as assigned
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Comfortable with computer software and electronic medical records systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
