Singapore BUSINESS NEWS (ASIA) LLP Full time

**OVERVIEW**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Appear on television reporting business and financial news stories, as well as conducting ‘live’ interviews from the CNBC studio
- Write clean, clear and accurate news copy
- Develop strong financial and business news knowledge
- Contribute and develop story ideas, as well as develop and invite guests to CNBC shows
- Develop sources and generate independent reporting
- Work closely and professionally with each member of the production teams to output top quality news programming
- Communicate effectively with news producers, news editors, other anchors, reporters and correspondents, as well as operations teams
- Collaborate with the company’s Communications & Marketing team to promote CNBC, as requested
- Other duties as assigned

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS**
- Proven experience in business and/or financial news writing and reporting
- Demonstrated experience in similar roles at major news networks
- In-depth knowledge of financial markets and business news, as well as economics, geopolitics
- Excellent news judgement and high attention to detail
- Lively, engaging on-camera personality
- Fluency in English is essential
- Develop clear understanding of CNBC’s editorial practices, standards and procedures
