) seeks applicants with a Bachelors (Honours) degree in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience or related field from a university of good standing for a Research Assistant Position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise and work closely with stakeholders from external institutions (including schools) and project collaborators.- Conduct literature reviews and prepare research progress reports- Day to day coordination of funded projects.- Preparation of ethics documents to institutional review boards.- Participant recruitment.- Data collection using psychological and neuroimaging techniques, such as cognitive testing, MRI and fNIRS- Perform research-related administrative work, e.g., purchase of material/equipment for research- Manage day to day operations and meticulous record keeping of the research project.- Systems administration, including maintenance of network servers and data security.- Carry any other duties as required by Principal Investigator

Job Requirements:
- Bachelors (Honours) degree in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience or related field from a university of good standing.- Experience with cognitive/neuropsychological assessment with children and neuroimaging techniques such as: fMRI and/or functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) is preferred.- Possess excellent communication skills with a good command of the English language to perform literature reviews, prepare research progress reports and create visual infographics for presentations- Able to work independently- Good project coordination and administration skills, including data management and storage.- Willing to travel to school sites for data collection- Willing to work on weekends (with off-in-lieu) when needed- Strong oral and written communication skills.- Excellent organizational skills and able to work within given deadlines.- Self-directed learner who effectively picks up relevant skills as needed.
